but make a life by what we give.

Here I am to blog, if not Peiling will nag again. Well, I had been ill since yesterday. I guess it was the cause of all the screamings at the K1 chn. What a great sacrifice! haha.. i'm a glutton too. Ate a lot of spicy junk food.. no wonder my voice became so "sexy". haha
I missed today's cell and service. I am so sad abt it. But it's ok.. I'll continue to pray hard for healing so tt I could attend the adult's service tml.
Work has been tired but joyful! I love the way the chn pray and sing worship songs. They are simply so cute and innocent! Especially the younger ones.. from playgroup and nursery. haha.. i just love to see them cletching their hands together and pray. haha.. Indeed, chn are God's VIPs.. no wonder He loves them so much. Haha..

It has been truly tiring for me these two days.. I had to take a whole class of 19 K1 children all by myself. This is a tough time for me. All the chn seem to have so much unused energy inside them. They are not tired at all. Definitely not.
I realised tt I had been screaming like hell for these two days. It will be worth it if only the chn listen to me.Unfortunately, it turns out to be the opposite. They did not seem to be afraid of any teacher in the entire sch! Being a teacher is definitely not a kidding issue.. But i choose to persevere. Jing Han, jia you! U will be a victor!!

Last night was full of excitement for us. Together with Denis' cell, Dellia and Pastor William, we headed to the cemetery near MacRitchie to start our Psalm 23 walk. We were trembling with fear when we reached there. It was pitched dark and we could not even see each other clearly. We were filled with fear and unwillingness to walk. And the most shocking news is tt, WE HAD TO WALK ALONE INSIDE THE CEMETERY! Initially we thot we could walk in pairs hence we were not worried abt it. But after Pastor William's briefing, we were hesitant abt walking already. Xueli is the bravest! She was the first to go! After praying to God, I finally plucked up my courage and was the 3rd one to walk. It was the scariest walk in my life man! Tombstones were beside me and the path in front of me was so dark (yes, it is really really dark) tt I could not even see where I was heading. I kept walking straight.. trying very hard to calm myself down. At the last ten mins, I could not stand the quietness anymore. I began to pray and talk to God instead of keeping quiet. I realised tt my voice got louder n louder each step I took. (too scared ma.. so must talk louder to keep myself calm) And glad to say tt things really got a change for the better when I pray! Haha I no longer felt so scared as I could strongly feel God's presence. I even had to courage to look at the trees and sky instead of looking down. The whole cemetery walk lasted for ard 1 hr. After tt, we went to MacRitchie to lie down on green pastures and beside calm waters. It was a great place for worshipping the Lord at such a calm place. Our bodies and minds became calm and we started sharing with each other. Indeed, when He is with us, there is truly nothing to fear.
Dear Juan, it really saddens us to know tt u are ill now. We, the dMns will keep u in prayer. Rest well and believe in the healing hands of the Lord!

"Serving the children", this motto has been etched on my mind since I started my ech course last year. I never get to realise the true meaning of it until today.
It was the first day of my part time job at a Christian day care centre. When I stepped into the centre, my first impression was messy & dusty. I just felt uncomfortable and out of place. I was thinking, "God, why does it turn out to be like this?" However things started to have a huge change at the later part of the day. During free time, I got a chance to read some stories to the chn. One child handed me a bible story and requested me to read for her. I was surprised as the story was exactly the same tt I read this morning at home! I started reading and more n more chn began to come near me. I was so glad tt they were amazed by the story and were enjoying themselves. After that, I had a long talk with one of the teachers. She shared with me her experiences in this centre. I was surprised tt she was an ech graduate too! We started sharing our experiences & also how we got to know God. Through our conversation, I realised tt all the teachers are members of the church and they actually volunteered themselves to serve! Moreover, they lived extremely far away from this school. At tt time, I really feel like slapping myself hard on my face. I thought, "Oh man, I lived so near and yet im complaining away. Am I fit to serve God's vips?" Immediately, my mind changed completely. I decided to stay in this sch. Though the envt is not very pleasing, I can strongly feel God's presence there. The teachers really showed genuine concern and love to the chn. Never did they punish or treat them harshly at all. And rite now, they are facing a shortage of teachers. How can I ever bear to leave them? How can I possibly ignore God's calling for me to serve these chn? I am glad to make the right decision. I choose to stay and persevere. *God, here I come.*

The acting of the several artistes are great too! It really deserves standing ovation! Thumbs up, Jack Neo! I'm really proud and happy to see that there has been a vast improvement in the film industry in S'pore. Really look forward to the next movie by our local talents! :D

I went to Clementi Polyclinic early in the morning with Peiling. Before heading there, we met for breakfast at Mac. Woo... I had my all time favourite hot cakes for breakfast! Yum yum.. hehe. Ate so full until my stomach became so round. haha. After a sumptuous breakfast, we headed to the polyclinic for my blood test. I was so glad and appreciative tt ling actually volunteered to go with me! She live at Bukit Panjang yet was willing to sacrifice her precious slping time to accompany me. She's indeed my best pal.. oh no, sld be bestest rite ling?! haha. The doctor's name is so funny..haha ok, shall not laugh at other's name, it's rude. haha. Oh ya, im so glad tt i've found a part time job at a childcare! Im so relieved! Though the pay is not very attractive, im still thankful tt at least i had a job! Moreover, it's related to my course! HAHA.. can get to serve God's VIPs! hehe.
To my sweetie Peiling: Girl, thanks for ur company today! Ur presence indeed gave me assurance and comfort. Furthermore, u gave me joy and laughter by ur lame yet lively jokes. Lol. Just wanna tell u tt u're a special individual. No one has the right to change u. You're born not to satisfy other's, but to really live for yourself. Just be yourself & im sure people will get to appreciate u! No matter what happens, Karen & i will alwis be there to accept and appreciate u. :D *don't forget our target of a healthy lifestyle k?* haha.

Yahoo! My exams are finally over! I'm now in my holiday mood.. enjoying every moment man! haha.. I had my Child Development paper today. It was soOoOOo hard. Even harder than our DLE paper. I made quite a number of mistakes in the paper. But tt does not dampen my spirit! I'm sure God will do the rest for me.
I finally told my parents about my salvation yesterday. Phew! I was so thankful and glad tt they accepted my decision! They were happy abt it and understood tt there were some restrictions tt I had to abide to. Thank God for the positive response! I was so shocked tt my parents were so open minded abt it. I really nv expect them to accept it so readily! haha. I'm really on cloud 9 now!
To the ppl out there who are studying hard for exams (esp to Meiyi, Xueli, Jasmine, Lingli..& the list goes on), Jia you! Never give up! No matter what the results may be, be of great confidence & good grades will belong to you! Gambate~~ :D

I managed to catch some glimpse of the news last nite. Oh man, another case of ruthless murdering. And yes, it was by a maid. It's rather unexpected tt a maid actually has the guts to do it. What's happening to the world now? What's happening to S'pore? Before the news started, I watched a show abt the missing ppl in S'pore. My heart goes out to the family members of Tina, who is missing till now. Nobody knows her whereabouts, not even if she is dead or alive.
The two reports keep me wondering even till now. Life is so unpredictable and humans are so vulnerable. I was filled with guilt and sadness when I realised tt I have not been treasuring the ppl ard me. Francis has told me a million times tt I have to really put my studies aside, and to put my loved ones in top priority. Yes, i noe. But it's easier said than done. Nonetheless, I've strong faith tt i'm able to do it. I don't want to live a boring life where it is alwis filled with more and more workload. I wanna have a change. I believe I can.

*Phew!* DLE exam is finally over now. It was really out of our expectation! The paper was rather hard.. a lot of 'applying' questions. Really scared us out of our wits. But i choose to rejoice! So what if the paper is hard man?! There's no use feeling troubled and sad as we can do nothing abt it now. Instead, we should continue to persevere and work hard for the next paper! Yes, it's difficult to forget it and really move on. But will it do any good to us if we're still troubling over it? Definitely not! To my frens out there who has lost confidence now, "Regain ur confidence! Failing once does not mean tt we will fail again! Blessed are all who persevere under trials." :P
"Life is hard, but you can choose to rejoice or grieve."

Yahoo! I went to Zoo with Ryan & my eldest sis today!! Woke up early at 0710 and travelled all the way to Yew Tee Station to meet them. Ryan was so excited to see me! (haha.. of course man!) We took a cab down to the zoo and were amazed tt there were quite a lot of ppl there. I think this might be due to the Sep hols ba. Well, it has been a pretty long time since I enjoyed myself at the zoo. I went there last year.. but I was busy looking after the children at my attachment place.. hence there was practically no time for me to enjoy myself. This time round, there were no 15 kids for me to attend to.. but one RYAN was enough for me. I was busy carrying him up and down to view the animals. (the fact is, he's too short) However, i still enjoyed myself.. haha cos got e opportunity to spent quality time with Ryan. I had been feeling very guilty as I had neglected him due to the piles of assignments. Hence this is a great chance for me to make up! His smiles and laughters were indeed warmth and assuring to me.. I love you rYaN! :-)

These few days had been tiring for me. I spent most of my time studying for the coming exam. The funny thing was that I actually studied for the wrong module! I thought the Cdev 2.1 paper comes before DLE but it is the opposite! Thanks to Peiling who reminded me tt we are having DLE paper first! After knowing it, I immediately kept the CDev notes and studied DLE. Well, tt's me- as blur as a sotong. Fortunately I discovered it early hence there is still time for me to start the correct revision.
Francis came to my house in the evening. Ryan had a new play doh set and we played with him, creating lots of pizza and ice cream out with the moulds! Ha. During dinner time, I noticed tt Francis became very sick. His face turned white and was perspiring in cold sweat. He vomitted and I accompanied him to see a doctor. He said tt he had a severe food poisoning and needs to rest well at home. Unfortunately, he needs to go for a 5D4N NCC camp. He is the oic hence his presence is crucial. I tried persuading him not to go for it but his determination is too strong for me to say anything. Well, i had no choice but to support and pray for him.
Get well soon dear!

Today was great! Had cell at 3pm and we planned a surprise for Florence. While Juan was praying, the rest of us were lighting up the candles and distributing the mini "bombs." Flo got a big shock and surprise!! I was glad that she enjoyed it and we had a fabulous time sabo-ing each other with cake. Haha. Xueli even ran ard barefooted! After cell, Jasmine and Jessie went to the hospital to visit their granny. I was so glad tt she actually felt better after praying! This is indeed a divine opportunity for her family!
Dear Jasmine and Jessie, I will keep ur granny in prayer.. rest assured tt she will be healed!
Dear Juan, just wanna tell u tt you are certainly a great mom to us! Thanks for loving and taking care of us these days! Do not be affected by the negative comments by others.. u are great and we love you! Dear all DMNs, stay strong and full of courage! I look forward to our cell outing on Mon evening! :p

-=OuR maYc prEsEnTaTiON=-Phew! Finally completed my MAYC grp assignment! Today was our grp presentation on all the activities wqe had planned for the children. I am so happy tt we are able to present it successfully & to submit the written report today before 5.30. Initially we had a huge prob uploading the photos and editing the report. They costs us a bomb too! $1.30 / A4 colour. Thanks God tt He actually heard my cries and helped me. In the end, I heeded Peiling’s advice to edit the photos @ library. No cost is needed. :-)
Time really flies and today is the last day of sch. The worst is finally over. Right now I just pray for peace and time for me to really figure out my whole pile of notes, notes & NOTES! Will be having CDEV and DLE on 9th and 12th Sep respectively.
To 2D01: Girls! We have finally finished all our assignments! *Thumbs up* Study hard and all the very best for our two papers! I believe we can make it! Jia you wor! :p
