A promise.

This one week of holiday is coming to an end.
both happy& sad.
Sad because no more nua-ing & rotting @home.
Happy because I've rested well and it's time to Go.

So far I've experienced a little of what is it like
being a SNO.
I can say I love what i am doing.
One classmate of mine mentioned
passion = frustration.
i really dont think so.
e` question is, what are we working for?

Frankly i dont know if this is e` path for me.
But i trust that God has brought me thus far,
He will continue to guide me even further.
No doubt i have my fears and uncertainty too.
But God is bigger than all fears and impossibilities.

Deuteronomy 8:1-9
7 For the LORD your God is bringing you into a good land—
a land with streams and pools of water,
with springs flowing in the valleys and hills;

8 a land with wheat and barley, vines and fig trees,
pomegranates, olive oil and honey;

9 a land where bread will not be scarce and you will lack nothing;
a land where the rocks are iron and you can dig copper out of the hills.

The land referred is my
marketplace. my career. my school. my students.
i dont know how far i can go, but i trust that
whatever i can offer, no matter how small,
He will multiply it.
Labour is worship.
Work is something God creates to bless & not torture.
i pray that as i labour, i will not do so in vain
but always look towards His strength & joy.

A long awaited break.

yes! e` long awaited break has finally arrived!!!!
all my classmates & i have been looking forward to this.
e` strength to persevere through our attachment is bcos of this!
haha. no happy, finally can N U A H at home.

attachment has started for 2 weeks.
so far so good.
i like my class of 15 year olds.
smart, lovely & likeable.
the same goes to the other classes too!
i like bel's & faisal's students lar.
they make me laugh all the time.
this is a good sign, at least it helps to kill e` boredom.
recess is always the time we look forward to.
cos it's the time we can sit after hrs of standing...
& the time to talk cock with each other..
it's like our comfort zone. :)

im beginning to like my job.
or rather, love.
i learnt a great deal from these adolescents.
i'm looking forward to serve in this marketplace!

Anyways, today's service was a combined one.
Ppl fr the adult & youth network came together.
We spent one entire hour praying!!
it's really amazing.
hope i can continue to do this for e` rest of e` wk.
After pot luck at aileen's hse, went to vivocity to meet francis.
watched The Leap Year.
it is a touching movie.
definitely value for money!

Easter Sun is coming!
im excited for it cos barnabas is gonna hold a big event!
i hope my girls will step out in faith to do sth for God. :)
Well, it's my first time too.
But i know God will dwell in our midst & bring salvation to many!!
