We celebrated Easter yesterday. Before I was a Christian, I used to think that Easter is about eggs and chocolates. Well, it isn't at all. Just like Xmas isn't about Santa and Rudolf. Easter is about the resurrection of Jesus. It's 3 days after His death (Good Friday). On Easter, we remember and celebrate the victory of Jesus - victory over death and sin. :)

Yesterday during Gkidz, many children brought their cousins, friends and neighbours for the Easter celebration. There were a total of 54 visitors in Barnabas alone! We've reaped a mighty harvest. Many of them gave their lives to Jesus. Yesterday was a break-through for Denise & me too. It was our first time serving as consolidators to such a huge crowd of kids. I'm glad God was with us.

Thinking back of all the things that God has done for me, and through me, I can only marvel with praise. For the past 4 years, He has never shortchanged me. He blessed, strengthened and changed me. Even in the darkest storms, He remains faithful, steadfast and unchanging. Above all, His death on the cross is His greatest demonstration of love for me. Truly grateful, truly amazing love. Thank you, Father God!
