It's 27th May!! This day has finally arrived! haha.. it's our mama juanie's weddding!! woohoo! These 2 days had been busy yet blessed for all of us!

Alrite, first of all, we were busy decorating the whole church yesterday. I brought all my barang barang to sch and headed down to Seng Kang Methodist Church after my lesson. Juan, Simon, Qinpei, Gui Min, Michelle, Hui Qing and the 2 florists were already there when i reached. I was amazed to see e beautiful phto board hanging down from the ceiling, as well as the beautiful flowers hanging on the staircase! Qinpei, jassica, Meifang and Guimin did these! They're really good at it! Next, we started decorating the doors with light purple cloth and flowers made from ribbons. Wow, both Michelle and GuiMin are good at this. They coordinated very well and the doors were beautifully decorated. The rest of us were busy making bees (out of balck and yellow pipe cleaners) and tying flowers and ribbons on the seats. We felt very stuffy while decorating e place cos the air con wasnt turned on. Juan felt dizzy and we urged her to go home and take a rest. Moreover, she really sld rest as her big day is the next day! We continued decorating the seats while Florence, Jasmine, Jessie, Felicia and Xueli came and joined us. We had a great time decorating the church! Though we were very tired, the thought our desire of making this wedding a successful & perfect one immediately spur us up. When it was abt 9 plus, we packed up everything and headed to juan's hse. Oh man, we actually walked the wrong the direction hence reached her hse at around 10 plus. Jasmine and Feli are so nice.. they actually waited for us to reach and bath before they take their dinner. And yep, we had our dinner (or rather supper?) at nearly 11. We had curry with bee hoon and we took lots of servings repeatedly. The curry is nice sia. haha. As we were eating,we discussed on e various strategies tt we sld sabo simon and his brothers e next day. Came up with a lot of lame things. Esp the waxing part. hahas. After e discussion, we went to bed at around 12 plus. The 7 of us squeezed into juan's bedroom while she slept with her parents at e other room.

At 5 am today, most of us were up and getting ready to dress up. The whole bedroom was packed with girls laughing, shouting, talking and putting make-up. :) At about 7 plus, the groom came!! We shut the door and refused to open it unless they call us "mei nu". hahahas. The 'appetiser' of the game was to eat a mixture of blended curry with potatoe, small chillies, rice and etc etc. Yucks, it looked horrible and i bet it tasted even worst. You should have seen the look on the guys' faces when they tasted it. wah piang. It's a creation from xueli n jessie. hahas. Next we demanded the guys to do star jumps so tt they would perspire a lot. This was actually meant to sabo the 'informidable' guy as we wanted him to wax his airmpit hair. hahas. tt's gross. but due to time constraint, we couldnt. Hence we had no choice but to let them in. haha.. but in e end, we received a command from the most impt person of e day, the bride! Juan wants us to do it! haha.. hence zhong rong had to sacrifice his leg hair.. hahas. U sld have seen the smiles on our faces! haha. i think we're pretty atrocious.

After all e fun, we headed to Feli's hse to rehearse the special item tt we're presenting to juan n simon. Then, we shared a cab and went down to the church to meet liwen. We started preparing oursleves but still couldnt help feeling stress. Stress abt our role n responsibilities, as well as e success of our special item. In e end, we decided to form a circle n pray. Soon, all the guests started to come in and by 2 plus, all were seated. We worshipped, listened to God's message for the couple, and enjoyed the video and special items put up by Dellia and Gin Hean's twelve. They were great!! Next came Juan and simon's appreciation message for their parents, ps william and cell leaders. The message tt they gave were reallie touching. Esp juan.. when she talked abt her parents. Wah..all of us cant resist our tears from flowing. And we are reallie very happy to see our spiritual mother getting married after 7 yrs of waiting! During reception time, we performed our special item. I guess e timing was wrong as most of e guest were busy eating n talking to each other. But it was a success! Wanna thank Adeline, Carolyn, Jassica, Meifang, Joanna & her cell, Sarah and her cell and all for supporting and applauding for us! haha. Xueli, Feli, Florence n liwen are really cute in their bee and flower costume. haha.

These 2 days had ended in such a fast pace. We reallie had a great time helping juan n simon in this wedding of theirs. The stay-overs, rehearsals and time tt we shared certainly bonded us together. I am thankful for everyone in this cell group. It makes me realise e true meaning of ohana.

Ohana means family. And family means no one gets left behind nor forgotten.

I am so happy! heehee.. I am so glad tt this week has been a blessed one for me. Just like what Juanie said, we can witness many miracles everyday.. Got to believe in God. Dont always live in the past, live in the present and give thanks to Him even right now.

First and foremost, we received our attachment place yesterday! haha.. I am in the same attachment place as Karen for the 3rd time! Both of us were so happy, laughing like crazy. Glad that it's not somewhere far again.. in fact, this place is pretty near our homes. Several buses are able to bring us straight there. yes, no more changing of bus or trains again. haha. Initailly, we had a hard time figuring out e exact place of the childcare. Hence, Karen called her fren (who lives in that vicinity) and we're pretty shocked that the vicinity actually has a childcare! I've been praying hard for the past 1 week that God will bring me to a place nearer my house, with supportive teachers and mentor. My first prayer had been answered.. shall continue to pray with faith for the second one. Karen, dont worry! I'll pray hard de. haha

After our lesson, Karen and i headed to Orchard with a shopping spree. haha. We had our lunch at Sakura and had a pretty fun time laughing at some of the things. hm. oops, i think i shouldnt comment any further again. Alrite, after lunch we shopped around to find some accessories to match my dress for juanie's wedding. As we were walkin, we saw one pair of earrings at only 2 bucks! I wanted to buy it but didnt. Next, we saw an orange necklace at IS. We fell in love with it at first sight! I thought it must cost a bomb, and was reallie shocked tt it only costs 12 bucks! the necklace suits well with the earrings we saw earlier hence karen persuaded me to buy the earrings first. I did of course!But i was still very puzzled about the costumes too.. dilemma as to whether i sld buy a new dress, which accessories, which hairstyle. On our way home, i felt a prompting from God to sms qinpei and xueli. i dunno why too, but i chose to obey. Miraculously, qinpei is coming to town too! And she's meeting flo and guimin too! Xueli cant make it due to her driving lesson. I am so amazed that God is so real this time. I hurriedly ran to meet them and seek their advice about the wedding clothes & accessories. We shopped around in Isetan and found this dress which i really like. And it's pretty cheap too! only 39.90. Most dresses costs at least 70 bucks! Finally i had the idea of what to wear!! hee hee.. Glad that i really responded to His prompting by looking for qinpei. haha. This is the 2nd miracle i experienced with qinpei this week.

We continued to shop around to look for guimin and qinpei's dresses. We went to heeren and entered into one of the shops. We found several dresses that are nice, sweet and appropriate! Flo and i took them down and pushed guimin and qinpei into the fitting room to try them on. Hey, they look gorgeous in the dresses!!! haha.. the four of us are so funny.. laughing loudly while saying "Ke yi ma?" "Ke yi lar!" haha. i think the salesperson oso cant stand us lor. I am so happy tt they bought their dresses! And minutes before we left Heeren, we went up again to URS to find heels. Guess what?! They found their pair of shoes tt matches their dress too! haha.

I should say that this outing is a blessed one from God. Time is so tight that qinpei and guimin are only free to look for the wedding clothes this week. (it's a week before the wedding). Esp qinpei, cos she has to complete teh decorations. I can sense their anxiety and worries as they may not free to look for clothes next week. Really glad that the short 2 hours had been such well-spent! It's amazing that in this short period of time, 3 people are able to find what they need. ^-^

Arrgghhhhh...

I had a frightening experience at the gym yesteday. nv had i ever felt like this before. well, recalling back, it seemed pretty funny too. haha. here it goes.

I was staying over at my dajie's house as usual. At about 11am, i decided to go to gym since i hadn't been exercising for nearly a week. well, i went and started working on the cross trainer. At the 18th min, i felt a strong pain at my heart. I didn't bother abt it and continued. Soon the pain became unbearable and i decided to stop training and rest. After resting for 5 mins, i wanted to resume my training again. But, something just stopped me. So instead of heading to the treadmill, i headed to the door and left the gym. While i was walking back to my sis's house, i was breathless. I felt extremely giddy and i couldnt look where i was going. My vision turned very blur and all i could see was bright yellow. I dunno why eveyrthing turned bright yellow too, but it was extremely scary for me cos i never encounter this before. While i was walking, i pondered, "If i fainted now, will anypne know?Will i be sent to the hospital?" bla bla bla. I felt v scared n i started praying to God. I told Him tt i dont want to get sick. i dont want anything bad to happen to me. I am not afraid of death. I just want a heathy life so tt i can continue serving Him and the ppl ard me.. and to repent what i need to. WHile i was thinking abt all these, i dragged my feet and pushed myself to walk back home. Thank God tt i didnt faint. I managed to reach my sis's house. I walked to the bathroom wearily and sat down. i breathed deeply and tried calming myself down. I dont want my parents to be worried abt me hence i had no choice but to hide inside the bathroom. After 15mins, i still felt giddy and i had no choice but to call meiyi & tell her tt i cant meet them. :( My fingers turned numb and i was staring blankly at the wall. totally lost. I decided to tell my sis abt this and she enlightened me. Well, the gym was pretty small but was packed with 7 ppl. Hence the oxygen level in the room might be very low while i was exercising. Aarggh. wrong day,wrong time to exercise. hmm. Well, but this incident will definitely not stopped me from exercising again! shall be more vigilant the next time round. Thank God for His protection. :)

Alrite, shall talk abt happy stuffs now. haha.. today was the DMNs' cell outing! We went to The Mind Cafe to celebrate JAsmine and Qinpei's birtdhay, as well as mothers' day for juanie! Met Florence earlier at 12.30 and we went to centrepoint to collect the cake which i had reserved. We headed to The Mind Cafe first to put the cake there then went to Dhoby Ghaut to meet e rest. haha. We made a huge mess at the station control with many many presents, cards and stationeries. We hurried to the cafe and started celebrating both birthdays and mothers' day. haha. We were so happy and excited to see the smiles on Jasmine, Qinpei and Juan's faces! Esp during the part when they opened up their presents! haha.. they were blushing lo! ^o^

Well, it's Mothers' Day tml! It's also my beloved niece, baby Clarice's one month celebration (also known as "man yue". ) hmm.. all my sisters r giving my mother any baos.. Whereas for me, i think i'll do sth special for her instead. I'll be doing a photo frame for her by compiling all our family photos together! It's really fun... i got to see my sister's photos when they were in their younger days.. haha. a abit "orh-bit" sia. haha. wanted to post in this blog. but i think i better dont tk the risk. may get hacked by em anytime, anywhere.

Well, these 2 weeks had been so fruitful and enjoyable! I shall start blogging now to share my joy!!

First, I am free from all the nightmares now!! I had a a peaceful sleep for the past 1 week.. hehe.. finally. I wanna thank Qinpei for her sms-es for the past two nights. God spoke so much through her.. All her inspiring sms-es indeed made my sleep a peaceful one. And i never forget to pray whenever i closed my eyes to sleep. hehe.

Last Monday was Labour Day and also Francis' 19th birthday! We went out to celebrate this joyous occasion at Marina Square. We had our late lunch at 3.30pm @ Lerk Thai (recommended by Xueli sissie). Whoah.. the food are really sour and spicy that i had to gulp down several glasses of water. but im glad tt Francis enjoyed the meal. I bought him a book, "The Purpose Driven Life" and a worship album, "The Cross". His face lit up immediately when he saw these two items. haha.. he has never been so happy before! I never thought that just a simple gift would bring a smile to his face! haha.

On Sunday, i had a chance to lead word during cell group. It was on Philippians 4:1-9. I was not nervous days before.. but when the ice breaker had ended and Juanie looked at me, wow..my heart started beating real fast! I had the same nervousness as i am conducting lessons for my children k! haha.. but thank God for pouring out His Holy Spirit to me.. i could feel tt the Spirit of God was speaking through me throughout... And not forgetting the love and support from the DMNs!! haha.. thanks for the prayers and trust!

On Monday, Peiling, Karen and I headed to Orchard after our lessons to celebrate Lifong's birthday! haha.. We had a sumptuous meal at yuki yaki! hmm.. well, though there was a worm in our soup, we still enjoyed ourselves.. We crapped, laughed, and played a lot. haha. i will nv forget the ice-cream fight tt we had! haha.

And on Wed (which was yest), i saw jasmine on bus 75!! haha.. it was really exciting to hear her sharing all the excitements tt she had on tue! haha... First, her severe flu n sore throat was completely healed by God. Second, she had 3 surprises from her friends and families on her birtdhay celebration. Third, she received a letter from Ngee Ann stating tt she is in the Director's List again!!! haha..wow.. God really answered her prayers.. she is so blessed! My mood was lifted up as i hear her sharing!! haha.. After saying good-bye to her, i met Qinpei at Plaza Singapura. haha.. we went from shop to shop to find sth but couldnt find. At the last few mins before leaving, we finally spot sth we really like! haha.. immediately bought it for someone. haha.

And today, just as i was clearing off the mails in my Ngee An mailbox, i saw sth which caught my attention! I nearly deleted it but when i saw these words, "overseas community service.....", i quickly unchecked the mail for deleting and opened it. Wow. Guess wad? Ngee Ann is organising YEP during the Sep vacation!

• Vietnam (31 Aug - 13 Sep) - Build a retaining wall for a children shelter
• Thailand (7 Sep - 20 Sep ) - Build community hall for hill tribe village

I am really so excited abt these trips! I wanna go to the first one.. But i noe tt it will be pretty hard to gain the consent from my parents. Well, i am gonna work hard praying abt it. Nothing is hard for my God. Amen.
