TOGETHER, the father & son overcame marathons after marathons.
e` father is just amazing.
I really salude him..
for his love in accepting his son for who he is.
for his willingness to sacrifice his time, effort & strength
in exchange for his son's smile and triumph. :)

I'm reminded of my heavenly Father's love for me too.
TOGETHER, we overcame many downs in life too. :)

I thank Him for my abled body.
If there's a chance, i too want to fulfill e` dreams
of those who are unable to do so by themsleves.
Face it, life is short.
I don't wanna look back and regret the many "I should have..." in my life.

Last Sat was filled with so much joy and excitement with emmanuel!
while del and the rest were playing in Mind Cafe,
qinpei & i brought emmanuel for a boat ride. hahas.
he was soo excited! haha. esp when seeing the merlion & tourists.
haha. so cute. a pity we only chose the half an hr ride.
sld have chosen 45 mins eh. haha.
he's really such a adorable boy.
his face is always so happy. :)
after the boat ride, i followed this happy family to marina sq and raffles city
shopped around for baby's toys..
so limited choices!!!!
but still got hold of the chance to buy some.
emmanuel is reallie very cute!!! haha.

I had my family picnic today @east coast park.
woke up at 7 in e` morning.
Then dad drove mom & i to pick francis up.
headed to tiong bahru market to buy breakfast for everyone!
bought lotsa FOOD.
fried mee/beehoon, youtiao, soon kueh, peng kueh, chui kueh,
curry puffs, chee cheong fun etc....
reached east coast at 9am.
e` rest had reached!
they were faminshed. e` kids were playing with sand happily.
after our breakfast, francis n i rented a bike.
today's mission- to learn how to cycle.
hahah.
yes. i dont know how to cycle at all.
francis had a hard time teaching and supporting my bike.
hahahas. my sis joked tt it's even tougher than he's in ns.
got so kua zhang ma?

anyway, i really had a hard time balancing myself.
cycled the same path to & fro. but still couldnt figure out.
for once i thought, "maybe my body shape is weird. i just cant do this."
haha. i prayed hard cos i know e` nxt time i can come & learn again will be very long.
so i dont wanna miss this chance!
i kept persevering on.. & on & on.
damn. let me tell u. my buttock hurts man!!
dont care. still kept on trying.
and i am soo 'encouraged' by my dear ryan's remarks,
"Girl-yi, looks like you've got a bit of problem here!"
*shows his cheeky smile*
brrr.. cos he was riding his 4-wheels bicycle so steadily &
can't wait to show his sarcasm to me. hahaha. cute.
in e` end my bro in law brought me to a straight path & taught me there.
francis came back from his break & took over. hahas.
in a couple of mins, i got it!!!

i still rmb how it went.
francis was holding my bike to help me balance.
i kept my vision in front and kept paddling.
struggling to keep my steer straight @ the same time.
after a few secs, i felt light.
me: Dear, is your hand still there?
*no reply
me: Hello? is your hand still there? or am i cycling by myself now?
francis: don't talk. keep moving.

hohos. from his answer, i knew I MADE IT.
finally!!!!
phew. it took me an hour to master it man!!!
and for those who said, "you need to fall in order to learn how to cycle.",
i can prove you wrong.
cos i didnt fall at all.
nearly crashed but still didnt fall down. haha.
finally accomplished my mission for the day!
my family is sooo proud of me. haha.
yea. took me 20 yrs eh. hoho.
nxt one to go will be swimming.

The month of July can be a challenge for me.
hahha. birthdays.
shiqi. peh. lingli. mummy. spiritual mom.
song bo. 5 ppl. haha.
nevertheless, these bday celebrations always started & ended
with laughters and joy.

finally met up with e` gals during peh's bday.
wanted to go dempsey road.
to try e` famour double choco cake tt peh keeps mentioning.
eventually, there was a last min change of plan.
headed to holland v to eat XO yu pian mei fen.
Cool. super duper unforgettable bday celebration @ a kopitiam.
hahaha.
venue changed but e` hearts of the ppl didnt.
we're still as crazy before.
bought a cake @nydc for peh & sang a bday song in her car.
hahaha.
e` car was packed in e` middle of no where
& e` 4 lovely us started our merry-making. hahas
somehow sth is still missing. our beloved fren.
deep down in our hearts, we just yearn for her presence.
though we didnt mention it out.
but it's ok! this mth she'll be joining us. she promised. (:

today just celebrated lingli's bday.
shopped ard for a couple of hours before getting a pressie for her.
haha. she loves it. can see from her face sia,. so happy.
ate at Sakae Sushi.
Man, we can really eat!
followed by ice-cream as desserts. hahas.
right now i'm having a bad throat n cough,
but who cares? just eat lar. hopefully it works as a miracle pill for me.
hahahas.

anyway, sch is starting for me on mon.
i'm really excited. but definitely not abt e` journey to n fro.
so sad tt peh & i are in different tutorial grps for 2 modules.
but i must say tt nie timetable is so much better.
at least there arent longggg breaks in between.
monday is e` first day n we're alr required to finish some readings.
serious work sey. hahas.

4 more days to seeing francis!!
man, he's in e` jungle now.
haha . hopefully he wont be harassed by any wildboars again.
or worst, dengue mossies. arrghhhh.
how i wish time will pass like a rocket now.

I've signed up for the marathon.
date - On my bday eve. 21st oct.
distance - 10km.
companion - my 4th sister.
I simply cant wait to run with her.
haha.
this is actually my 1st time joining a marathon.
extremely excited & nervous abt it.
haha.
2nd one is on 2nd dec.
standard chartered. 10 km too.
this one, sad to say, zero companion.
haha. hopefully will be able to see my sissie xueli there!! =)
