this year's christmas has been a special one for me.
lots of things to give thanks. :)
thankful for e` miracle tt God has done in my mom.
it's so miraculous tt her stroke was such a mild one
despite tt much of her blood vessels were burst.
even e` doc says tt it's a rare case.
Praise God!
& she's recovering very well.
indeed this is a year of victory!
now everyone in my family is busy
tking care of mommy & the kids.
busy busy busy.
but it certainly gels the family even closer. :)

Also thankful tt e` xmas celebrations
have been so fun-filled & joyous.
enjoyed e` most with the dmns!!!
we're still a crazy bunch as usual.
played Wii and had fun with e` boxing game!
had so much fun playing & cheering for each other.

christmas church service was great!
e` 4 "heavenly kings" of fcbc led e` worship!
love christmas carols so much,
though i had a difficulty time reaching some of the
relaly high note.
haha. think "zao siah" a lot.
but who cares!!!

xmas celebration with dear was a great one
though it was just a simple meal & movie.
this yr i 亲自下厨
baked pistachios cookies & pork floss cupcake for him.
a success compared to yrs ago!!! hahas.
went to shirley's hse to 偷师!

went for my church's Encounter Weekend at
NUS- Prince George Park.
great camp with great companions.
it is my 3rd time attending this camp.
content is the same, but e` feeling differs.
God has done a great work in me. truly thankful.
i admit tt i stoned & disturbed ppl
during most of the sessions. hahas.
but in every ministry time, He has nv failed to speak to me.
i like e` testimony shared by Carine.
seeing how dellia and aileen failed to sychronise
the guitar repeatedly was reallie an amusing sight.
they hv always been sychronising well,
so it is reallie impossible for such to happen.
they stop and restart over n over for many times.
perhaps God made this happen to speak to Carine.
There's always a second chance in Him. :)
didnt get to share a room with denise cos
we're all separated in different hostels.
shirley came over & we talked in our room.
we ended up zzz together on e` tiny bed. hahas.

i love tis song tt was sung during e` camp.

met peh, maria, annabel & denise!
wanted to hv a picnic @sentosa
but who knows it started raining in e` morning.
changed our plan to settler's cafe instead.
great time playing with e` games & snacking unhealthily
we love the bone game... cos we got to see e` cute side of maria.

thursday & friday 6 & 7 dec
went to my sanjie's hse to look after e` twins!
they're 2 months old now.
Gal gal is sooo fat now.
not even 2 months alr started wearing M size diapers.
reallie tua pui sai (hokkien for "big fatty shit") lol
Boy boy has become more chubby too.
it's a joy to have them. :)
i'll always place them side by side on e` bed
so tt they can see and 'interact' with each other.
hahA having twins isnt easy at all.
after patting this to sleep, another will cry for milk.
after feeding this, another will cry cos of poo poo.
on top of this, still need to play with my 3 yr old niece.
entertaining 3 kids isnt easy at all!!!

francis came over and joined in to babysit in e` late afternoon.

Ryan's concert!!
He was dressed in pink, with a "clock" on his forehead and danced.
haha he got this "can't-this-concert-get-over-&-done-with-quickly" look on his face.
haha i guess it was cos of the pink outfit lar.
he hatessss pink.
e` fact tt he had to dance with e` silly clock on his forehead
pissed him off even more. hahas.
he's like tt. so matured. tt's y i love him.
after e` concert, went Thai Express to hv lunch with francis.
caught e` movie, The Kingdom, too. e` movie is great.
i love violent shows. haha.
jennifer gardner is soooo steady. i like e` way she fights.
but e` scene tt showed how e` terrorists killed e` americans
still gave me goosebumps. eeek.

tues 9 dec
went shopping with sissie xueli!!!
been nearly 2 mths since i saw her.
missed her a lot. hahas.
we spent 6 hrs in parco bugis.
man, we can reallie shop.
nv had i once stayed in bugis for sooo long.
e` ban mian in the food court is soo nicee!
hahas nt too saltish n the mince pork is nice! nt too fatty.
hahahas. nxt yr she's running 21 km too!!!
yea yea yea. so exciting.. 21 yrs old. 21 km. hahas.
wait till 42 yrs old den run 42 km ba!

3 assignments to conquer!!!

Yesterday was Standard Chartered Marathon.
woohoo.. thank God i was in good physical
condition this time to participate!
woke up at 6am to get ready.
met francis at 7am at e` station &
made our way down to e` staring pt @esplanade.
when i reached esplande, i saw the first runner for 42km!!!
he is from Kenya and was running real fast man.
when he ran passed us, everybody clapped & cheered for him!
then e` dj announced tt e` 10km race is starting.
i walked up to the starting pt & was shocked to
see sooo many ppl.
wanted to find Chin Ling but cldnt
cos i didnt hvthe space to squeeze through e` crowd.
while waiting for e` race to start,
the dj played the song, Y M C A
and all e` ladies did the actions together!!!
so fun larr! hahas.
The 10km race started punctually at 8am.
from esplanade - marina - CBD then padang.
i felt ok during the first 6km.
but when running 7km onwards,
i was like, "piang. i wanna peng liao."
i didnt wanna stop cos i know it's hard to get back e` momentum.
continued for another 2km before
i could finally catch a glimpse of Padang (e` finishing pt)
continued through and finally REACHED! :)
i am so happy tt Francis waited for me throughout.
reallie appreciate it, dear!
we hope to participate in e` half marathon
together next yr. :)
after e` run, we had our breakfast @tiong bahru market.
i then headed bck home to bathe before going down to
church for Nick Vugicic's sharing.
e` day ended with aches on my back.
it got worse this morning.. arrgh.
lucky our sentosa trip is wed nt today.
hahas. looking forward to meeting e` girls!!
