Family Outings

December is all about family! A series of outings/ events have been arranged for family bonding! All thanks to 二姐 who has been coordinating every-thing.

The first event that took place was Standard Chartered Marathon. A pity I couldn't take part.. i broke my toe nail just a few days before the race.. arrgh. Eventually Candice ran on my behalf & I went down as a supporter! It was a great experience! Super high & fun. Especially when you see the top 42-hm runners coming in.. woah. impressive. Managed to capture photos of my 偶像. haha. Vivien Tang. She was the first Female Singaporean to complete the 42-km category! Anyway, my 大姐 did us proud by clocking in at 59 mins for her 10-km race! Ryan did us proud by completing his first-ever Kids Dash Race too! Though with a heavy and reluctant heart, he did his best to complete the 750m race under such hot weather. Well done, Ryan! haha. He claimed that this shall be his first & last. Well, he isn't the runner sort.. swimmer perhaps? Ryan, we're looking forward to your "Phelps" moves! haha.

The following day, we wanted to go for a picnic at Marina Barrage. In the end, our plan was spoilt due to a heavy rain. Well, we still went ahead.. but w/o any picnic-ing in mind. Went there to explore around. it was freezing cold!!! Singapore might have hit its lowest temperature.. it was so cold that we had to hit behind pillars and take refuge in the cafe.. haha. Itwas a pleasant experience though.. to play and run around with the kids.

Next was Zoo Trip!!! I just love the zoo.. despite it was my 4th time there this year. Anyway, it was a fun day cos the Kiz Playground is opened!!! The water playground is so fun! I can't help it but to join Ryan for a splash!! It looks pretty much like Wild Wild Wet, minus the thrilling slides. And there are boobee traps EVERYWHERE! That's where the fun is! :)

Upcoming outings will be Christmas BBQ Dinner, followed by a stay-over at Shangri Rasa Sentosa the following week. I can't wait to have fun with the kids!!!!!
