my guitar has been lying in a pathetic corner
for more than a year.
it's in a depressing state lar.
but its owner has finally come to her senses.
haha. picked up my guitar and shoved off the thick dust ystd.
"D" is the first note i learnt.
till now, it's still the only note i know how to play.
I'm determined to learn this time round eh.
of course together with a companion too.
my ding dong siao fren.
but im nt gonna wait for her le.. cos God says It's NOW!
this time round im gonna prove francis wrong man!!

anyway, today is the first day i started my 40-day fast.
so far so good.
surprisingly i didnt feel hungry or difficult to fast.
steady and good.
though e` bread fr breadtalk smelt super nice and
the free snacks offered by ARC was so tempting,
i resisted!
nt with any sense of sadness or deprivation at all. =)
hving a ding dong siao alongside was fun.
im still waiting for her to gulp down 10 meiji milk.
perhaps we should do it together on last day of ARC!

was listening to e` worship song, "Behold the King"
and praying at the same time on my train ride home.
This verse was revealed to me as i prayed..

Jeremiah 9:23-24

23 This is what the LORD says:
"Let not the wise man boast of his wisdom
or the strong man boast of his strength
or the rich man boast of his riches,

24 but let him who boasts boast about this:
that he understands and knows me,
that I am the LORD, who exercises kindness,
justice and righteousness on earth,
for in these I delight,"
declares the LORD.

I came to know this verse through Carine.
Verse 24 is exactly the kind of prayer i uttered to God.
It's all back to the basics of sitting at His feet to listen.
I am reminded of the kind of priority Mary has set. (Luke 10:38-45)

And He walks with me
And He talks with me
And He tells I am His own
And the joy we share
As we tarry there
None other has ever known...
